On September 21, 2010 the interfaith community gathered at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church to pray for peace, and to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of inspiring prophets of peace. Belle S. Spafford, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Rabbi Abraham Herschel, Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold, President Jimmy Carter, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and James Morris Lawson were all remembered and honored.
Deacon Marlin Filipek led the ceremony and the blessing and rededication of the Peace Pole.
